WHAT TYPE OF ANIMALS NEED FOSTER CARE? Dogs and cats of varying ages and sizes.
ARE THE DOGS SAFE?  Yes, we temperment test the dogs prior to placement in foster care.

CAN I FOSTER A DOG IF I ALREADY HAVE A DOG?  Yes.  This is a good way to provide your dog with a buddy without adopting another dog.  Also,
if you foster on a regular basis, your dog will become well socialized with other dogs.

WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL COSTS TO ME?  None.  We provide all veterinary care, food and supplies.  The dogs and cats are vaccinated,
spayed/neutered, micrchipped and tested/treated for any worms.

WHAT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY AS A FOSTER PARENT?  We ask you to work with your dog to teach basic obedience.  Many already have some
training but, need a bit more.  We will provide you with dog obedience training at our expense.  You must have the time to attend weekly classes
and work with your dog for short sessions, several times per day.  No special training is required for cats.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE THE DOG?  Training takes about one month.  After that, the dogs are adopted very quickly.  Usually, between one to two
weeks.
St. Seton's Orphaned Animals offers a substantial
discount on adoptions of dogs and cats to senior
citizens over the age of 60.  Our, "Pets for Seniors"
program is made possible with a grant from Purnina.
Studies show that pets provide love and
companionship which, in turn, improves overall health
of people of all ages.  If interested, email:

      SAVE N' TRAIN
According to the ASPCA, behavior issues
are one of the top ten reasons dogs are
surrendered to shelters.

Our dogs are, "move in" ready.  Each has
received basic obedience training and
house training.

We use Cesaer Millan's training methods.
