We do not have any statistics on the number of animals
who are euthanized each year due to some unforeseen
illness or injury.  However, it is tragic that an animal should
have to die when the condition is treatable simply due to a
lack of funds.

We provide assistance with non-emergency veterinary
care.  This does not include vaccines or any other
preventative care.  We are not always able to raise the
funds for the entire cost of the care but, we can help you
find the resources.

You must provide us with the information we require in a
timely manner.  You will need to devote time and effort to
this process. Thank you for working with us to save your
pet.

Eligibility

You must provide proof of income.  We will require a copy
of your tax return from the prior year.  If you did not earn
enough to file taxes, we will discuss proof of income via
alternate documentation.

In order to qualify for assistance without a co-pay, you
must be at or below the poverty level as established by the
federal government.

Due to financial arrangements with our veterinarians,
services may not necessarily be provided at the
veterinarian of your choice.  Our veterinarians are highly
qualified and we do use specialists, as needed.

If your income exceeds the proverty level...

1. You must apply for Care Credit.

2. If you do not receive enough credit to cover the cost of
the care or, you are denied, you still eligible for assistance.
If you received financing for part of the cost, that portion
is your responsibility and must be paid to the veterinarian.
If you were denied credit, you are responsible for that
portion of the veterinary bill that we cannot cover, despite
our best efforts.

What we do

3. We make payments on your account to the veterinarian
at the time services are rendered.  We are never the
responsible party.

What you need to provide

1. A copy of last year's tax return.
2. Clear photos of your pet.
3. A letter from your veterinarian that states the diagnosis,
prognosis and cost of treatment.  The letter must state how
soon the care must be provided and the consequences of
not providing the care at that time.  (this is required by
foundations who assist us).

Where do I send the documentation?

1. Email photos to:

2. Fax veterinary records to:  (888) 541-9781
